Come to the General's Arms and share the excitement of the annual Varsity boat race. Watch them sweat, heave and gasp - and that's just our bar staff! And see the crews paddle their their way to famous victory and ignominious defeat on Old Father Thames for the 156th time. Place your (modest!) bets at the bar on who will win - or maybe who will sink. The forecast is quite unsettled, but the refreshment and entertainment in te company of fellow GA regulars is guaranteed. Cambridge currently lead the series since 1829 by 79-75. Oxford won the 2009 Race. The 156th Boat Race takes place on Saturday, 3 April 2010 at 16:30.
